Porec is a
pleasant town of sun and warm sea, as well as a town of many
cultural monuments (Euphrasius Basilica from VIst century, The
temple of Neptun, Romanesque house and many others.). Renowned for
its good wine, ham, cheese, olive oil and more than 70 sporting
activities. It has 165 tennis courts located near to the sea. There
are plenty of well-known bars, night clubs, disco clubs and
restaurants. Plenty of campsites, hotels, apartments and beaches
make Porec an excellent holiday destination. Organized tours can
take you to Venice, Islands of Briuni and City of Pula etc. The town
train takes a pleasent route up and down porecs coast line dropping
you off close to Mugeba village.
